Traditional 11th Grade English Debate Tournament

The champion of the 11th Grade English Debate Tournament was Class 11A!

Çevre High School’s 11th-grade Science and Social Sciences debate teams participated in the semi-final matches of the 11th Grade Debate Tournament in December and January. The topics debated in these rounds were "Science is a threat to humanity." and "The internet supports democracy." The first match concluded with the government team, which argued that science is a threat, emerging victorious, while the second match was won by the opposition team, which argued that the internet does not support democracy. The final match, held on Thursday, March 6, focused on the topic "Private universities provide better education and a brighter future." Both the government and opposition teams presented and defended their arguments successfully. The winning team, consisting of Eda Tek, Serra Aytekin, Defne Kösoğlu, and Efe Karakaş, represented the government side.
