Grade 6 Şile Bioblitz Survivor Trip
One hundred and thirty- five of our 6th grade students participated in a day long getaway titled ‘Şile Bioblitz Survivor Trip’ held in Şile on 11 October. This trip was geared towards building friendships, solidifying relationships, strengthening communication skills and team building all in an English-speaking environment. The list of benefits to the trip is endless as it also gives students an opportunity to improve their self-reliance and confidence. It provides them with an opportunity to resolve conflicts among their peers while fostering cooperation.
The trip’s activities ranged from a nature walk through the Saklıgöl Forest, a plant hunt that included photos of different species of plants, football, volleyball, a sack race, a fill the bucket race, and tug of war that took place in Kumbaba Beach. All students enjoyed themselves and returned to the city feeling renewed, refreshed and relaxed.
