Çevre College wins ‘the most extraordinary design award’ at the 13th Invention Fair hosted by Bilgi University

Çevre College has won ‘the Most Extra-ordinary Design Award’ with their cable lift product within the theme, ‘Don’t Waste a Drop’ at Istanbul Bilgi University.

Istanbul Bilgi University hosted the 13th annual Invention Fair, which is originated by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California and entitled ‘Invention Challenge’

The fair, which aims to reveal youths’ potential interference in technological fields, took place on 3rd December Saturday at Santralistanbul campus.

This year, young inventors competed to carry fish in a plastic cup full of water to a water tank which was 2 metres away without spilling a drop.

Out of 13 middle schools and high schools, Çevre College high school students Mustafa Cem Büyükalpelli, Batuhan Akgüneş, Özen Akkoyun, Zeynep Özgün, Duygu Yeşil, Nezihi Can Berkkam and Deniz Ütgin won the ‘The Most Extra-ordinary Award’ with their cable lift mechanism, which has 6 engines.

All the participants received certificates whereas the winners of the respective categories ‘the most artistic’, ‘the most creative’ were delivered plaques.
