Second Foreign Language

Learning a second foreign language will increase the creativity of the students, strengthen their memory, change their perspective regarding the world and help them have the skills, which will make them an open-minded and sympathetic individual.

With such a perspective, we, as Çevre College, offer elective courses in German, Spanish and French to our students starting from 3^rd Grade in elementary school.

In this context, our goal is to ensure that students would:

• Learn the basic concepts,
• Know the different cultures,
• Understand how diversity and richness in language contributes to their social development,
• Adopt themselves with the modern world, and
• Express themselves in a second foreign language with the languages they elected.

As part of “Common European Framework for Language Teaching”, for our students we apply the tests of the following institutions, which are authorized and competent in our country:

• “Goethe Institution” for German FIT 1, 2 and Certificate B1,
• “Cervantes Institution” for Spanish DELE 1, 2 and B1,

“French Cultural Centre” for French DELF 1, 2.
