Our 6th Year in Harvard MUN
12 Çevre students have been to Harvard University
As Çevre College, we attended Harvard Model United Nations Conference between January 24-27, 2019. On the 66th annual HMUN Conference organized by Harvard University in Boston, USA, our students represented Azerbaijan. With more than other 3500 high school students from all around the world taking part in the conference, our delegation discussed various global issues in different committees and presented their resolutions. Our delegates’ awareness increased incredibly as they worked on the issues such as lethal autonomous weapons systems, rights of prisoners of wars, border crossings and migration, legal status of stateless individuals, and disrupting terrorist financial networks. We would like to congratulate our students who had worked on crucial global issues for months and had the opportunity to voice their opinions on such a challenging platform and we hope their success and awareness boosts in the future.
