Our 12th grade student, Mert Akyürekli Took The First Place in The World in The "CASTIC International Project Competition" Held in China.
The CASTIC-International Project Competition is held every year in a different city. This year, it took place in Hangzhou, China from August 14th to 23rd in which 500 finalists competed. Mert Akyürekli was the first of 500 finalists with his project "Interaction of DNA-Ferrofluid by Using Magneto-optical Methods".
The study of Mert Akyürekli as the only project participating in Turkey and examining the DNA-ferro liquid interaction has earned the highest score of both the jury and the people, thus a source of pride for our country.
