Math Kangaroo Contest at Cevre College
On Monday, March 19, a group of students from prep class, 9th, 10th and 11th graders at Cevre College had the excitement of participating in the Math Kangaroo Contest, which includes different but entertaining questions that attracts more than 6 million students all around the world every year. Our students had a preparation process to be successful in this contest which lasts 75 minutes and consists of 30 questions that are scored as 3, 4 and 5 points. Thanks to the Math Kangaroo Contest, our students came together frequently to study and have fun by solving the questions of the past years. After the contest, each student got a puzzle presented by Math Kangaroo Contest and they really loved it. All students that participated to the contest received their participation certificates. Two students named Ahmet Tunga Bayrak and Sevgi Eda Keskin qualified to attend the final exam by entering 3% of the highest scored group. We congratulate our students for their success. We would like to thank our students for their efforts in this contest which has wonderful awards and wish them success.
