Journey to Atatürk
On 10th November, when the clocks struck 09.05 in our school, we commemorated the Founder of our Republic and Great Leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with deep longing and respect.
"Journey to Atatürk" was the theme of our online ceremony. The biography of Atatürk was told by our administrators and teachers who had received the dispensation in historical locations such as Florya Naval Mansion, Harbiye Military History Museum, and Sultan Ahmet Square.
Our students also added a touch of Atatürk to the ceremony by singing Atatürk songs as well. In English, German, French, and Spanish, our students expressed their admiration and devotion to Atatürk, and our drama students burst their longing for Atatürk in their poems. The indescribable moments made us all feel as if Atatürk was with us, and that filled our hearts with hope.
As Cevre College, we pledge to keep the Kemalism star shining brightly in our school and to protect its heritage and Atatürk's values forever.
