If Time Stood Still
For 86 years, our hearts have longed for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, to whom we always bow with respect and gratitude for all we have learned from him.
At exactly 09:05, we paused to honor Atatürk—the great leader, visionary politician, commander, and founder of our Republic. With deep reverence, we remembered him through the drama program "If Time Stood Still," where key figures from his life shared their thoughts and memories of him. This touching tribute deepened our feelings of love, respect, and longing for him. The ceremony also featured a beautiful performance by the Çevre Polyphony Group and a moving lyrical dance that left a lasting impression.
In addition to the memorial ceremony held on Sunday, November 10th, we also organized a flower ceremony in the school yard. Students from preschool to high school placed flowers at Atatürk’s monument, turning it into a breathtaking garden. On this emotional day, both teachers and students united to express our deep longing and dedication to him. As Çevre College, we vow to follow Atatürk’s principles and protect his legacy, now and forever.
