Çevre College Students on Rahmi Koç Museum Trip-Discovery Sphere& Planetarium
As a part of culture and art trips, Çevre College 3rd grade students visited Rahmi Koç Museum on September 24 2019.
We watched digital images on the giant wall panels and the Discovery Sphere in the Astronomy Studio, and learned about the 13.8 billion year formation process that occurred after the Big Bang. We also listened to experts who explained to us the formation process of the stars, galaxies, other celestial bodies and the Solar System.
Through a virtual reality environment, we watched the stars, the planets and the Milky Way Galaxy. We also viewed educational films which told of children who travel to the Moon, the formation process of the Earth, volcanic eruptions and the lives of dinosaurs. Through the film we experienced the virtual reality of traveling to the other galaxies with Einstein’s Elevator, and to the Solar System and Saturn’s ring with Cassini – Huygens Space ships.
It was a trip enjoyed by all!
