The only school girl team to compete in World Championships from Turkey, Çevre College
Çevre College came first for the 19th time in School Sports Youth Championships organized by the Youth Services within the Ministry of Sports. The 2011 World Championship team was the only girls' school team to compete in the world championships from Turkey this year winning the Turkish Championship. Çevre College Youth Girls Swimming Team is preparing for the ISF World Junior Swimming Championship that will be held in Budapest, Hungary on April 20-25.
Çevre College is continuing to prove itself in the field of sports as well as academic and artistic achievements. Çevre Young Girl Swimming Team got the first place among 16 schools in Turkish Swimming Championship organized by the School Sports within the Ministry of Youth Services in Bursa that was held on 4th and 5th of March and was named as one of the best schools in sports.
In addition to the world championship in 2011, the 18-time Turkey champion Young Girls' Swimming Team, has gained another success to take part in world championship.
With the team Manager, coach Abdullah Aydin, swimmers of Çevre College Young Girl Swimming Team Sezin Eligül, Defne Kurt, Aleyna Ozkan, Gizem Güvenç, Ilgın İlter, Betül Gündoğdu, has become one of the 2 teams with its Turkey championship heading to the world championship.
