Çevre High School is at “CERN”, the European Organization for Nuclear Research Searching for the Secrets of the Universe
The "Cern Trip" organized by the High School Science Department was held on 13-17 November. While our students had the opportunity to get to know CERN, one of the most important research laboratories in the world, they also had the opportunity to discover the historical and natural beauties of Switzerland and France.
Çevre High School students made an incredible journey into the mysterious world of physics at CERN, the world’s largest subatomic particle laboratory after their trip to Geneva. In the light of the important information given by the invaluable physics professor Kerem Cankoçak, our students learned a lot about the world-famous experiments carried out at CERN, as well as a lot about the work done so far.
In the second part of our CERN tour, our high school students, who had a pleasant time on the Paris city tour, got historical information about Paris and France from our tour guide while visiting the most beautiful spots of the city. At Disneyland, our next stop, they met the colorful world of Disney and had a very enjoyable day. Our students, who went to the Eiffel Tower on the last day in Paris and then took a boat tour on the Seine River, completed the trip with great happiness.
