Wizards of the Environment 

Organised by the Foreign Languages Department, there were numerous activities held at Çevre College with the aim of emphasizing the importance of soil on World Soil Day. Firstly, all the students as well as the teachers were dressed in green and brown to attract attention to the colour of soil and vegetation. Kindergarteners demonstrated the hats and posters they had prepared. 2^nd graders wrote slogans and displayed them on their classroom doors.  3^rd graders wrote poems entitled ‘This Land’ while 4^th graders decorated their classroom doors with leaves and trees; 5th graders decorated the classroom doors and designed costumes; 6^th graders designed logos regarding the Soil Day. What’s more? 7^th graders displayed the t-shirts they designed and High School Prep class and 9^th graders prepared outstanding shows such as drama performances, shadow play, quiz shows and songs, which entertained everyone with their witty sense of humour. Second foreign languages department decorated the noticeboard with posters while the art department displayed ceramic works of students.
