Organised by the Foreign Languages Department, there were numerous activities held at Çevre College with the aim of emphasizing the importance of soil on World Soil Day. Firstly, all the students as well as the teachers were dressed in green and brown to attract attention to the colour of soil and vegetation. Kindergarteners respectively prepared banners whereas 1st and 2nd graders sang songs and watched documentaries about the importance of soil. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders decorated the classroom doors  and 6th graders designed logos regarding the Soil Day. What’s more? 7th graders displayed the t-shirts they designed and High School Prep Classes and 9th graders made presentations and videos to raise awareness on the issue. The highlight of the event was the show of human trees designed by 10th graders, who spent time with the little ones and entertained them.
